Rookie Running Back LaMichael James a Game Changer for the 49ers?

Over the past few years, the San Francisco 49ers has been an extremely talented football team on both sides of the gridiron. The defense in the Bay Area has been what the 49ers have been praised for with superstar linebacker Patrick Willis leading the way, but the potential on offense is what sparked this team all the way to the NFC Championship game last season. With quarterback Alex Smith finally playing up to his potential last year and the franchise adding wide receivers Randy Moss and Mario Manningham during this offseason, the 49ers will be a scary sight offensively next season with potential the most talented team in the NFL on both offense and defense. As if the additions to the receiving corps weren’t impressive enough for San Francisco, the 49ers also made some moves in the 2012 NFL draft by acquiring running back LaMichael James out of Oregon in the second round. This pick could be potentially huge for this team as they may have finally found the cure for Frank Gore’s injury problems. With Gore always being a question mark due to constant injury problems, James will be a great insurance policy for this team and may turn out to be the starter if given the opportunity next season. Needless to say, the 49ers have gone from a perennial bottom feeder in the NFC Conference to a Super Bowl title contender for years to come. The upcoming NFL season will be interesting to say the least with so many new faces in the Bay Area and head coach Jim Harbaugh trying to put the pieces together. See what kind of impact James has this season by getting San Francisco 49ers tickets.

Randy Moss Impressive in First Practice with San Francisco 49ers

As arguably the one team in the league that has vastly improved their team offensively, the San Francisco 49ers are hoping to get over the hump next season to reach the Super Bowl. Reaching the NFC Championship game against the eventual Super Bowl champion New York Giants was impressive to say the least last season, but with the addition of rookie running back LaMichael James, free agent wide receiver Mario Manningham and veteran Randy moss the sky is the limit next season. With the 49ers being a team that has lived and died on the defensive side of the football, offense has been something sorely lacking with a mediocre quarterback and a less than stellar receiving corps. Last season the 49ers burst onto the scene offensively with Alex Smith starting to live up to expectations and tight end Vernon Davis turning into one of the best players at his position. Unfortunately, changes still needed to be made in order to make this team a legitimate Super Bowl title contender moving forward. It seems that this team is well on their way of having that distinction next season with all the improvements they have made. The one player that the 49ers have added that has intrigued everyone is future Hall of Famer Randy Moss. With Moss coming out of retirement, no one knows what shape he’s in or whether or not he’s got anything left in the tank, but apparently the first practice with San Francisco has his teammates amazed. Reportedly, Moss was very impressive in his first practice with the 49ers and looks like he’s reclaimed his old form as one of the best wide receivers in the game. It remains to be seen how the 49ers will use him, but it appears that he will get plenty of time on the gridiron for head coach Jim Harbaugh next season.

San Francisco 49ers the Team to Beat in the NFC?

After reaching the NFC Championship game in just his first season in the NFL, Jim Harbaugh of the San Francisco 49ers crushed the stigma that says college football head coaches can’t make a successful transition to the NFL level. There have been numerous head coaches in the past that have made the jump and absolutely bombed in the NFL, but Harbaugh is the exception and he hopes to keep this wild ride going in the 2012 NFL season. Coming into the 2012 season, Harbaugh and company have made a few changes to an already dominant football team. The defense in San Francisco was the team’s bread and butter with linebacker Patrick Willis and company dominating opposing offenses on a weekly basis. Even though the defense was the team’s trademark last season, the 49ers hope to be vastly improved next season on the offensive end of the gridiron. In attempt to upgrade the offense, the 49ers focused on getting quarterback Alex Smith some more targets downfield. Pro Bowl tight end Vernon Davis had a breakout season last year and wideout Michael Crabtree put up decent numbers, but it was apparent that some additions needed to be made moving forward. With that being said, San Francisco has signed Super Bowl champion Mario Manningham and veteran wideout Randy Moss. The addition of Manningham was already a big step in the right direction, but also adding Moss might be exactly what this team needs to dominate offensively and become the team to beat in the NFC in 2012. See if the team can repeat the success of 2011 by purchasing San Francisco 49ers Tickets for any of the great games this 2012 season.

Randy Moss and Mario Manningham the Offensive Answers for the 49ers?

As arguably the biggest surprise team last season in the NFL, the San Francisco 49ers defied the odds by bringing in a new head coach, playing with the same players and reaching the NFC Championship game. The move to hire Jim Harbaugh formerly of Stanford was a risky one, but the 49ers were in desperation mode as nothing has worked with new head coaches and the storied NFL franchise was willing to try anything. Fortunately, the gamble to hire a college head coach with no NFL experience was pure brilliance. Harbaugh immediately adjusted and got his players in the Bay Area to buy into his game plan to turn this franchise around. With players like Michael Crabtree, Vernon Davis and quarterback Alex Smith, Harbaugh was able to turn the 49ers into a dominant force in the NFC Conference with Super Bowl aspirations. Even though the 49ers fell just short of making a trip to the big game after losing to the eventual Super Bowl champion New York Giants, San Francisco has made huge strides in the right direction. And now the team is addressing weaknesses in the offseason by adding more wide receivers into the mix. In a bold move, Harbaugh went out and signed future Hall of Famer Randy Moss. Along with Moss, the 49ers also added Mario Manningham formerly of the New York Giants. These two moves alone are enough to make the 49ers considerably better offensively next season. Whether or not Moss and Manningham are the missing pieces of the puzzle remains to be seen, but San Francisco is definitely on the rise in the NFC.
